Below you will find some photographs of the church, together with brief descriptions

Here we see the church from the distance, with the spire rising high above the surrounding houses. We can also see both the transepts going out to the right and left of the photograph showing the church's typical cruciform shape.

Having entered the church and passed through the porch we reach the west end of the Nave. In the foreground, to the right we can see the font. On the two sides we can see the archways leading to both transepts. On the left is the Lady Chapel and on the right is St George's Chapel.  In front of us is the Nave Altar, with the High Altar at the East End.

Here we can see the High Altar itself.  At the base of the altar we can see the Lamb representing Christ, with clover-like shapes in the corners representing the Trinity. Above the Altar are inscribed the consecration words, 'This do in remembrance of me'.  This altar is now used as the Nave Altar.

Here we can see St George's Chapel, to the south of the High Altar. The Union Flag is in this Chapel as it also includes Holy Trinity's war memorial, although, somewhat unusually, only names from the First World War are recorded.  On the altar frontal, we again see symbolism for the Trinity, the three interlocking circles. On the altar screen, on the left is St Michael is shining arming slaying the devil, who appears in the form of a dragon. On the right hand side we have St George, also slaying a dragon. It seems likely that this famous story of St George was originally based on St Michael.  At the top we again have St George, and his flag.
